In ICE, DIRTT walls use i-Line based technology. The i-Line is an intelligent line that stores all the information about product in ICE. When i-Lines snap together, they share information. This shared information allows ICE to create the correct intersections and connectors for the walls.

DXF/DWG Lines

In ICE, you can import a base plan and use DXF/DWG lines to places DIRTT walls using Instawall, Center wall, or Edgewall. When you use Edgewall, you can position the DIRTT wall relative to the DXF/DWG line before you place it. Additionally, you can place both 2", 4" and 6" walls.

Draw and Continuous Draw

You can also use the Product Palette to select and draw DIRTT walls. When you select a DIRTT wall style from the Product Palette, you can draw a 2", 4" or 6" version it. You can draw one wall at a time, or you can use the continuous draw feature to draw multiple connected walls. If you create walls using continuous draw, you can switch between 2", 4" and 6" walls at each intersection point.

Modifying Walls

After you finish drawing DIRTT walls, you can can modify them. You can adjust wall length, and you can use the Properties Editor to change wall thickness and other Properties. You can also use Offset and Move to move walls to different locations.
