Viewing Junction Alignment Info

If a wall is not properly connected to a Junction , Notification 635 appears. In the right-click menu, you also see the option for the Junction Alignment Info dialog. If your Junction and the walls connected to it are aligned, the Junction Alignment Info option does not appear in the right-click menu.

 

The Junction Alignment Info displays alignment information for each connection on the Junction. You can use the information in this dialog to understand realign your Junction. If a wall is aligned, the dialog displays the message "OK." If a wall is not aligned, the dialog displays the alignment difference on the X and Y axes. If a wall is not connected to the Junction, the dialog indicates "missing"

1.If Notification 635 appears, indicating that a walls is not properly connected to a Junction, select the Junction.

2.Right-click and choose Junction Alignment Info.

The Junction Alignment Info dialog opens. Each wall connection appears on a separate line with details about the alignment:

oIf the alignment is off, the dialog will list the require X and Y-axis adjustments.

oIf the wall is not connected to the Junction, the dialog will indicate "Missing."

oIf the wall is properly aligned, the dialog will indicate not connected to the Junction, the dialog will indicate "Missing."

3.To figure out which wall(s) you need to adjust, imagine that you are standing in front of the Junction. The wall immediately to your left appears in the dialog first, and the other walls appear in a clock wise direction.

 

In the image below, the person icon represents you standing and facing the front of the Junctions. The walls are labeled A, B, and C in ICE 2D and the Junction Alignment Info dialog:

4.To close Junction Alignment Info, click OK .

After you see which Junction connections are misaligned, you can use the Align tool to align the walls and Junction.
