Deck height is one of the most important aspects of a power design. Throughout your design, your deck height should always be consistent. In DIRTT Power Components, you can look in the Distance to Floor column to check the AFF height for splitters and other components. From within DIRTT Power Components, you can select power components so that you can change their height in ICE 2D.

1.In DIRTT Power Components, find the product category for the item that you want to view, and double-click it.

The dynamic view displays additional information about the items in the selected product category. Now, you see products organized by power tag.

2.To view the individual products in your file, double-click an item.

The individual product view opens. In the Distance to Floor column, you see the deck height for the products listed in the DIRTT Power Components Dynamic view. In this example image, most splitters have a deck height of 12' 11". However, one splitter has a height of 15' 5". You would want to adjust the splitter height so that it is consistent:

9.In ICE 3D, check your cable paths to ensure that cables aren't looping higher or lower than they should be.

10.If cables are looping higher or lower than required, repeat steps 1-9 to check and adjust the cable connector height.

Caution: Because DIRTT Power Components does not show the actual cable height, you may also have to further adjust the cables in ICE to reach the desired height.
