You can view and manage layers for items from ICE in ICEcad. In AutoCAD, open the Layers menu or the Layer Properties Manager.

 

In the Layers menu and the Layers Properties Manager, you can lock layers and control which layer appear in ICEcad. Additionally, if you want ICE layers to have different colors in ICEcad, you can change layer colors.

 

To Open View and Manage Layers

1.Click the Home tab in AutoCAD.

2.In the Layers group, view layers.

•If you want to view layers within ICEcad, open the Layers menu.

•If you want to open Layer Properties, click Layer Properties.

3.If you want to change a layer color in the Layers menu or Layer Properties Manager, double-click on the layer color, and choose a color.

4.If you want to hide a layer, from the Layers menu or Layer Properties, click the Freeze icon.

 

In this example image, the ICE Architectural iLines and ICE Architectural Walls layers are frozen and not visible in ICEcad:

 

 

5.If you want to lock a layer, from the Layers menu or Layer Properties, click the Lock icon.

 

In this example image, the ICE Building Accessories layer is locked:
