Fixing Misaligned Extrusions

Notification 161 appears when extrusions or glass channels on Leaf Walls do not align with extrusions or glass channels on adjacent walls. In the image below, you can see Notification 161 in ICE 2D plan view. In ICE 3D, you can see that the extrusions are misaligned:

With Leaf Walls, this misalignment may occur because the Leaf Wall base profiles are further off the ground than traditional base profiles:

oShort Sweep is a full 1” taller than the Gerry Base, for 2” off the floor.

oTall Sweep is a full 1.5” taller than the Gerry, for 2.5” off the floor.

 

To resolve Notification 161 for Leaf Walls, use the steps below:

 

1.Open the Style Manager for the Leaf Wall Style.

2.Uncheck the Vertical Equal Space check box.

3.Find the extrusion that is misaligned and select it.

4.Click Properties.

 

5.Under Select the Objects to Edit, select Extrusions.

 

6.In Extrusion - Offset Reference Type, choose Distance.

7.Under Horizontal Extrusion – Offset Reference Point, select Bottom of Base Trim (Floor) or Top of Ceiling Trim (Ceiling).

8.In the Extrusion Start and Extrusion End – Offset Value fields, adjust the extrusion height.

 

9.Repeat steps 2-8 for other misaligned extrusions.
