When you save an ICE file that is linked to AutoCAD, ICE embeds all ICEcad information within the linked ICE file. When you re-open this ICE file and launch ICEcad, the existing Shop Drawing open in ICEcad. If you have to revise an ICE file that has existing Shop Drawing, once you finish your revisions, you can quickly edit your Shop Drawing.

 

To Edit Shop Drawing

1.Open the project ICE file and make required revisions.

 

2.If you have to make revisions in ICEcad, open AutoCAD and relink ICEcad.

 

The existing Shop Drawing open in on the ICEcad tab in AutoCAD.

 

3.In ICEcad, update the layout or the Shop Drawing.

 

4.In ICE or AutoCAD, save the .ice file.

 

When you save the .ice file, the updated ICEcad information saves with it.
