When you have a furnace duct or architectural obstacle in your layout, you may need to order panels that can be cut on site, in ICE these are referred to as Cuttable Panels.

 

To add a Cuttable Panel:

 

1.Draw a fixed wall or an architectural wall into the plan where the DIRTT wall will be meeting an existing wall and the cuttable panel will be needed.

 

 

2.Select the wall trim connector, and right-click to Properties.

 

 

3.Under the Wall Connections, in the Intersection Type menu, choose Cuttable Panel.

 

 

4.In Cut Panel Length, enter a length.

 

 

The length is the distance from the end of the wall frame to the end of the Cuttable panel.

 

5.In Wall Pullback, enter a value.

 

 

The Wall Pullback is the distance from the end of the DIRTT wall frame to the a wall that it will be contacting, for example a radiator. This will meet up with the Fixed wall or Architectural wall in ICE.
