ICE has multiple layers. Based on a clients needs you can select which layers can be seen in a plan. Select the Layers icon or following steps below to access Layers from the View menu.

 

 

To use Layers:

 

1.Select View » Layers.

 

 

2.Layers can be hidden in 2D  or locked by checking the boxes next to the layer name. Use the slider to change the transparency of objects in the 3D window.

 

 

3.Change the order of the layers to allow for the mouse to select the desired object. To change the order of the layers:

 

a.Select a layer by clicking on the name

b.Use the arrows at the bottom of the window to move the layer up or down. The DIRTT Walls layer should be up near the top.

 

NOTE: Changing the order of the layers is needed if the mouse is finding the AutoCAD lines in the plan instead of the DIRTT walls or intersections.
