LEVELS OF ELECTRICAL

When using DIRTT Power you will find four levels of electrical.

Level 1: Empty box, come from DIRTT.

Level 2: Empty box with Conduit, comes from DIRTT.

Level 3: Wired box with MC Cable (3 Wire, single circuit), comes from DIRTT.

Level 4: Pre-wired box with modular electrical & the quick plug & play connections.

Panel Manager: The Panel Manager is the most cost competitive option and a solution for spaces needing agility of plug & play power, but not necessarily the robustness of multi-circuit zone boxes. Panel Manager can be placed on fixed walls, architectural walls or DIRTT walls and consolidates an electrician's work to a single location. A single Panel Manager can support full capacity up to 10,000 sq ft.

Zone Distribution: Suitable for ceiling & all heights of access floors. Zone distribution is ideal for solutions that will have constant reconfiguration. Typically zone boxes are laid out on a 25-30 ft. grid and in an aisle way if possible. Each box can distribute up to 16 circuits. There are two types of zone boxes:

Landing Stripe: Economical, 1-8 circuits, pre-engineered

Terminal Rails: Can be separate circuits for a 16 circuit total. It is possible to distribute all 4 circuits out 1 whip.

Power feed Application: A custom box, ideal for build outs where there are already existing power and if renovations are being made to existing building. This is mainly used for ceiling distribution leading to walls and is a way to leverage the existing infrastructure to allow plug & play connectivity. One End is modular the other is a pig tail (that electrician must hard wire to the junction box on site).

Junction Box: The junction box is installed with Conventional construction to provide power throughout the building. There are two types of DIRTT Power junction boxes:

oA power source is like a mini zone box and will have home-run cable back to the electrical panel that will provide power to an area.

oA Power Receiver: This will connect to our power source (in this case the zone box) and are usually used to power workstations or furniture units from the DIRTT Power modular system.
