The following are guidelines for tagging items in your ICE file when special conditions are required for ordering. Click here for the DIRTT Non-visible Item Note Standards.
How To:
1.Highlight the item(s) in your layout that require special attention.
2.Go to Properties and in the Tag box, enter Tag A.
a.View pulldown > User Tags needs to be checked to see your tag in 2D.
3.Select the Custom Item from the appropriate folder in the Product Palette. Note: The Custom Item selected determines the Quote the item will appear on. Once selected, the Add Non-visible Item dialog will appear.

4.In the Description, enter a description that starts with "Tag A:"--then, be specific about the special requirements. In this example, "Tag A: These tiles to be butt-jointed." Also, add any pricing adjustments or requirements to the Custom SFN box.
5.Select Add and Edit to open the Non-visible Items dialog or Add and Close to continue working. In this example, Add and Edit. The Non-visible Items dialog will appear.
6.Select Close in the Non-visible Items window . Open the DIRTT quote to confirm that the Non-visible Item for Tag A is present. Repeat this process for each special condition in your order, incrementing each tag. Click here to see DIRTT Non-visible Item Note Standards.
7.If you want to change the quote that the Non-visible Item appears on, click on the Edit menu and select Non-visible Items. In the Non-visible Items dialog, select Transfer Item.
Use the pull down menu in the Transfer Item to... dialog to select the quote.
8.The tagging information added to the ICE file must also be added to the Shop Drawings in AutoCAD. Each Non-visible Item that was added to the ICE file (in step 4) must be included as text in the Notes section of your Shop Drawings so the Field Technicians have something to reference when they see the tags in plan.
9.Click on the Insert menu and select the Non-visible Item Schedule.
